Frameless shower screen glass, Sydney

Fixed shower screen panels in 10mm toughened safety glass, made to your width and height with polished edges and no holes. They are held by wall brackets, a U-channel or a support bar that clamps the glass, so nothing needs to be drilled. Choose clear, low iron, fluted (reeded) or frosted, and add a rounded corner if you like.

Glass only: hinges, brackets, channels and installation are not included. Enter your size for the price. Delivery across metro Sydney is $59 an order, and free from $400.

No-drill shower screen styles

Every panel here is 10mm toughened glass with polished edges and no holes. The hardware grips the glass instead of passing through it, so there is no hole to get in the wrong place. The price is for the glass only.

Walk-in fixed panel

One panel standing from the floor or shower base, fixed to the wall with two or three brackets or a U-channel, and a support bar from the top corner to the wall. Usually 900 to 1200mm wide and 2000 to 2100mm high.

Fixed panel with a rounded corner

The same walk-in panel with the top outside corner rounded, a softer look that is popular in newer bathrooms. Choose a rounded corner on the product page and we confirm which corner by email.

Corner shower: panel and return

Two fixed panels at 90°, one along the open side and a shorter return. Order them as two panels on the same product page. They are held by wall brackets and a clamp that grips both panels where they meet.

Fluted or frosted panel

Fluted (reeded) glass blurs the view while letting light through. Frosted (acid etched) glass gives full privacy with a satin finish that is easy to wipe.

Bath screen

A fixed panel on the edge of the bath for a shower over the bath, usually 750 to 900mm wide and 1400 to 1500mm high.

Questions

What thickness is a frameless shower panel?

10mm toughened glass is the usual thickness for a frameless fixed panel, and it is what we supply. Thinner glass is used in framed and semi-frameless screens where a frame supports the edges.

Why no holes?

A fixed panel can be held by wall brackets or clamps, a U-channel along the floor or wall, and a support bar to the wall, all of which grip the glass without drilling. Panels without holes are quicker to make and there is no risk of a hole in the wrong place. Doors on hinges need holes and are not sold online.

Is hardware included?

No, the price is for the glass only. Standard 10mm shower brackets, U-channel and support bars from a bathroom or hardware shop fit our panels. Check the hardware maker's instructions for the gap to leave between the glass and the wall or floor.

How do I measure a fixed shower panel?

Measure the width at the top, middle and bottom and use the smallest. Take off the gap your hardware needs (often 5 to 10mm at the wall). For the height, measure from the hob or floor to where the top of the glass should finish, usually 2000 to 2100mm.

How heavy is a 10mm panel?

About 25kg per square metre, so a 1000 × 2100mm panel is about 53kg. It takes two people to carry and fit. Delivery is to the door at ground level.

Can I get a rounded corner?

Yes. Choose a rounded corner on the product page and tell us which corner (usually the top corner away from the wall). We confirm it with you by email before the glass is made.

How much is a frameless shower panel in Sydney?

A 1000 × 2100mm clear 10mm toughened fixed panel with polished edges is $373.33 for the glass, or $432.33 with delivery across metro Sydney. A 750 × 1500mm bath screen panel is $219.70, or $278.70 delivered. Delivery is $59 an order and nothing on orders of $400 or more. Glass only, hardware not included.
